Vegan Salted Caramel French Toast

  • 2 thick slices of bread
  • 1 heaped tbsp flour
  • 1 heaped tbsp Mighty Human salted caramel protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp salted caramel or vanilla extract
  • 100ml Mighty milk
  • 1 tsp vegan butter for frying
  • Maple syrup to drizzle
  • Icing sugar to dust

Vegan toppings (vegan bacon, berries etc)



  1. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients and then add the wet ingredients and whisk until no lumps remain
  2. Get the vegan butter melting in a large frying pan on a medium heat
  3. Dunk your bread into the batter on both sides until completely coated
  4. Fry your bread and batter slices on each side for 4-5 minutes until the batter is cooked and the bread is a nice golden brown colour
  5. Dust with icing sugar, drizzle maple syrup and top with your favourite vegan toppings
