We advise that (as indicated on pack) the product can be introduced as part of a healthy balanced diet from 6 months of age and is suitable as a main milk alternative from 2 years.
We don't add anything into our Mighty M.lk's you wouldn't find in any other plant-based milk. All the ingredients we use to make our M.lks as creamy and milky as possible are all-natural and only there to keep our M.lk as tip-top as we can for all your modern-day milky needs.
We're happy to report we use powdered Pea Protein Isolate in our Mighty M.lk.
With regards to the suitability for those with IBS, Monash University conducted a study to suggest although Peas are a high FODMAP food, Pea Protein Powder is actually considered a low FODMAP source and should therefore suit your needs.
We would always recommend consulting with a medical professional if you have any outstanding concerns about using Mighty M.lk in your diet.
We're happy to report we're 100% palm oil-free!
We add non-GMO Sunflower oil to our m.lks to help replicate the nutritional fat content and texture of dairy milk. We also have a large audience of allergy children who use our products and have worked with paediatricians to create a recipe that replicates the benefits of dairy milk (but of course made with only plants!). Many Paediatricians / NHS groups recommend the use of our products. Of course we understand that we have to balance our nutrition and taste with sustainability and so we make sure to have all our products eco-certified by a 3rd party to demonstrate our sustainability credentials: You can find more about our score Find out more about the certified products
With regards to the Yellow Split Peas we use, this varies throughout the year and can be different for each production run. Typically, our yellow split peas are sourced from countries inside the EU when possible.
We encourage sustainable farming and we are always on the lookout for British split peas – we would love it if more farmers produced split peas in the UK and milled them for protein.
Our m.lk cartons are made using SIG Packaging and our shakes use TETRA which are recyclable depending on your local council.
