Well, guess what? We've just come up with an absolute cracker, if we do say so ourselves.
We've only gone and created a new MIGHTY Oat M.lk Powder. It's a plant-based, dairy-free vegan oat milk alternative but in a super-convenient dried powder pack.
It's the perfect back-up to have in the cupboard to whip out if you ever run out of our oat m.lks.
Or, you can use it when you want to get your fix of oat m.lk on-the-go. It's great for camping trips, backpacking, travelling, days out, taking to a music festival or on a picnic, or even taking to work for your regular cuppas.
It's such a great idea, we don't know why we didn't think of it before.
We've kept things simple here. Our vegan powdered oat milk alternative has only 3 ingredients - oats (obvs), coconut oil and salt. That's it. Oats, coconut oil and salt.
Because our powdered oat m.lk has a delightful natural sweetness from the oats there's no artificial sweeteners or sugar. It's also free from dairy and naturally lactose free.
Better still, each bag of our powdered plant-based m.lk also goes a long, long way. A 375g pack can actually make up 4 litres of deliciously scrummy MIGHTY Oat M.lk. That's a heck of a lot of lovely cuppas, shakes, bowls of cereal, cakes, loaves of bread. And because you're only making up as much as you need, you don't have to worry about keeping things fresh. Just measure out what you need from the pack, seal it and pop it back in the cupboard where it will keep for ages cos it's long life and shelf stable.
What, apart from the scrummy totally oaty taste? And the fact that it's plant-based and dairy-free?

Four litres worth of our oat m.lk powder weighs a lot less than four litres of ready-to-drink oat milk. Which obviously means fewer lorry journeys, less pollution being pumped out and lower CO2 emissions.
There's less waste too, because you only make up as much oat m.lk as you need. You don't have to open a whole carton and then throw any away when you go beyond the five days of freshness.

Not impressed I'm afraid.
Having bought dried oat milk from a competitor, and it was really good. Soz when I saw this from Mighty, I thought I'd give it a go Opened the bag, when it arrived, and was slightly shocked at the light brown colour of the product - it looked more like sugar than milk. Talking of sugar, if you taste the product - which I'm sure you're not really supposed to do - it's very sweet. Sweet in the artificial way, not natural. I can see from the ingredients that there is no sugar so where does this sweetness come from? I used it in a coffee and, again, was disappointed with how it looked. The dark colour of the product does not add much to the colour of the drink. It's a small thing, but it's built into my brain that adding "milk" to a dark drink makes it lighter. I'm sat here with the drink I made, and it's not very nice. The coffee just tastes as if there's nothing milk like in it at all... I'm sure I'll use it when I run out of oat drink from the fridge, but hopefully that will be few and far between. For the price I paid, I can't just throw it away. Real shame.

In love with this!
I've been using Mighty for several months now & am absolutely converted to using the powdered m*lk rather than buying tetra packs. It dissolves perfectly into hot drinks & is easy to make up if needed for recipes etc. I've noticed my m*lk powder vanishing at work & am actually happy that others- often dairy users- are choosing this product for their hot drinks. Absolutely superb product!

I shouldn't have to choose between affordability and sustainability
Love the powdered milk, but the price doesn't add up! As the most environmentally friendly product (in terms of shipping weight and packaging) it's a shame this option is more expensive than the 1L liquid milks.. Also the 10L bag is more expensive than the 4L bag? That doesn't quite make sense

Not as creamy as liquid oat milk
It's not as creamy as bottle/carton oat milk which is really noticeable in drinks. But it's more creamy than the other powdered oat milk I have tried. As another review has said, it would be useful if it was fortified with calcium, but not calcium carbonate is this is not easy to absorb and is a bit of a waste of time.

Shame not fortified with calcium and vit D at a minimum.
This is great stuff and I now use it in my bread making machine. However it lacks calcium and vitamin D at a minimum. For this reason the powder will not be my main source of plant milk. Such a shame.

Brilliant
Took this away with me on holiday as i never know if hotels overseas are vegan friendly. It is perfect and will be my favourite travel companion for years to come, please don’t stop making it! Easy to use and lovely flavour.

Oat milk made easy
Much easier to mix than dried cows milk: I carry small amounts in case cafes don’t have oat milk. It doesn’t say on the pack but you don’t have to pre mix. Just one spoonful in tea or coffee-perfect vegan solution.
